Encaustic painting, also known as hot wax painting is process which involves heating wax to its melting point then painting it over a surface (in our case archival watercolor paper) after which we use tools to shape or manipulate the wax before it cools. It leaves photos with a timeless finish, which can easily be incorporated into any room in the house. Whether you are putting on a shelf or desk or hanging in on your wall these pieces of art are completely unique and captivating ways to showcase your pictures!

SPECIFICATIONS FOR UPLOADED PHOTOS:
>> High quality TIFF or JPG files work best.
>> MINIMUM resolution for prints is 1500 x 2000 pixels.
>> HIGHER resolution files preferred.
>> HIGHER resolution files required if we will be zooming in on a portion of the image.
